Write to support@debtfree-me.com. You get a reply within two business days. Questions about privacy, requests for a copy of your data, and account deletion all go to the same address.
Before you email
Four details turn one email into one answer instead of three rounds of questions:
- Which device you use, and the OS version it runs
- The app version you are running
- What you tapped, and what happened instead
- A screenshot if the screen itself looks wrong
Black out the balances in a screenshot if you would rather not share them. Redacted figures are fine, the layout is the part we need to see.
Account and sign-in
You can sign in with an email address and password, with Google, or with Apple. Every account has a verified email address behind it, whichever method you picked.
Two-factor authentication and biometric lock are both available. Biometric lock stays on the device it is set up on.
Locked out? Email support@debtfree-me.com from the address on the account.
Your data
No bank logins. No account linking. No transaction feeds. DebtFreeMe never connects to financial institutions and never moves money. You type every number yourself.
For a copy of your data, email support and ask. To delete everything, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete account in the app, or use the web deletion page, which confirms it is you with an emailed code instead of a password. The Privacy Policy covers the rest.
Using the app
There are three payoff strategies. Pay Off Debt Fastest clears the smallest debts first, for momentum. Saves the Most on Interest attacks the highest APR first. Best of Both Worlds targets the debts costing you the most each month, and it is the one recommended for most people.
Payoff dates are estimates calculated from the numbers you enter, not guarantees. Change a balance or a payment and the date moves.
Reminders are notifications only. They never trigger a payment.
Plans and pricing
The current plan is free and includes what you need to get started. A Pro plan is not for sale yet. When it ships, we will announce it in the app. Nobody pays until they sign up.
